Truly Divine Wines (October 25, 2011)
My wife & I had an incredible time wine tasting in Paso Robles thanks especially to Brock & Michelle @ Brochelle!

The new ZIN & SYRAH are absolutely amazing & the TWELVE ANNIVERSARY CUVEE is.... truly a work of art.

We love the wonderful flavors & balance of all Brochelle wines & enjoy sharing them with family & friends during the holidays.

We also really enjoyed the ambiance/decor of the new tasting room & look forward to visiting again soon!

(Cool website too!)

Weekend in Paso = 10++ (September 20, 2011)
I wanted to extend my compliments and gratitude to you, Brock, and Shelbi for such a wonderful weekend. All three of you were so kind, generous, and gracious that it will be some time before I get over it. Your annual wine dinner was superb! Level 4’s new chef, Alex, was a real find and I am delighted to hear that he will be working with you on your future expansion plans!

My other dining experiences in Paso Robles at Artisan and Villa Creek were so off the hook, that I am really looking forward to spending another weekend up there. I do not intend to wait another year for your next dinner!

I learned so much from Brock about wine making that it makes drinking it all the more exciting.

Many thanks, again, for assisting me with lodging. You, Brock, Shelbi, went above and beyond to ensure that all of your guests had an unforgettable weekend.

Many thanks! The whole weekend was a 10+++!!!

RESERVE Syrah - wow (August 17, 2011)
What more can I say "Brochelle 2007 Reserve Syrah"!!! Sitting on the back porch with great friends, steaks on the grill and a mouth watering bottle of Brochelle. We drink wine daily, but only on special occasions do we break out the Brochelle.

Michelle and Brock, we continually applaud you for your outstanding, unique wines!!!!!!

Big Brochelle Reds make us Happy (June 08, 2011)
We live right by the restaurant called Ambrosia in Larkspur that's how we first learned about your great wines. The owner there is a great guy.

The story goes like this:
"I see you have lots of zins in the house, what do you recommend?"

"Try a glass of Brochelle"
....sip,sip,sip

"Wow, can I have a bottle?"
.... I see owner bringing a case of wine to another patron

"By any chance could you sell me a case?"

"Yes"

"I'd like to buy a case please"

That case went fast. It was particularly impressive to a group of Brazilian
business colleagues of mine who had the following to say:

"Now I understand what the big deal is about California wines!"

I'm Impressed! (June 08, 2011)
I wanted to let you know how impressed I was with your wine.

The weekend of the 23rd of Sept. was my wife’s 40th Birthday and we spent it in Napa with some friends of ours who are huge…huge wine people. We went to all the big and small wineries in the area due to this guy's status and had all the really good stuff private tastings of 97 Silver Oak - to a private showing of smaller specialty wineries to a private dinner at Nickel and Nickel for just us. Needless to say, we had a blast and severe hangovers and really enjoyed some fantastic wines.

I get back late Sunday night this trip and have to pick up my friend at the airport Monday morning. One of our first topics is not about my business, it is about how we have to find and try your wine. Well to the detriment of my liver ….we found it the next evening as well as the evening after…..repeatedly. Good news is we were being entertained by one of our vendors so the 12 or 14 total bottles of wine we drank over the 2 days was on them. I must confess that not all the bottles were yours but we always used it as a benchmark.

Brochelle truly is a great wine and I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed it. I will now start to look in wine stores for it.

I have always found it nice to hear others, especially business owners, when we as a company are recognized for things we do well. I just wanted to recognize your company for something I really enjoyed and something I feel you do very well.

Zinning in Vegas (June 08, 2011)
Last week I was in Las Vegas and decided to find some good vino. I ended up at Nine Steakhouse finding some of the best Zin in the country...yours. I ended up buying 3 bottles of Brochelle Zin and had everyone at the bar doing tasting. They all agreed that it was the best Zin in the country. Thanks!

Our Personal Favorite (June 08, 2011)
I was recently at a wine bar in Chicago and experienced your Estate Zinfandel as part of a flight. After all was said and done that evening it was without question the best wine of the night. We took Bottle No. 04334 home that evening and look forward to opening it with good friends.

Although I am familiar with wine, I truly have not ventured much into the Zinfandel arena and do not know very much about the grape. I tried Zin once and didn't care for it.....but your Zinfandel made me rethink what I have been missing. It looks like our Thanksgiving dinner lineup is starting with a true ringer.

You make exceptional wine and I look forward to trying future vintages and other varietals under your label, especially your Syrah. When I think of great small production wine, Brochelle will be on my short list of personal favorites.

Simply the Best! (June 08, 2011)
My husband and I were on our mini honeymoon in Paso Robles recently. We went to 11 wineries during the weekend. We had dinner at Artisan, we tried your wine. Without a doubt, the best Zinfandel we had the entire trip. It is simply a perfect Zinfandel, bold but smooth.
We look forward to joining your wine club and trying more of your detailed-driven wines. Simply the best.

Glad we discovered you (June 08, 2011)
On our honeymoon a few years ago my husband and I came across a wine tasting room in Cambria. Once introduced to this wine, it has by far become our favorite. Living in a area in southern california considering itself to be "wine country" we have yet to find any thing that comes close to what we've found with your Zin. It is truly amazing by being bold but wonderfully rich; ending in a soft finish. We just can't get enough and have introduced your wines to not only our friends but local Italian eateries in our area. Also your customer service, internet availability, etc. is outstanding. Being business owners ourselves I know how important and hard it is to keep on top of every aspect in business - you guys are doing a great job! Congrats! Our sincerest wishes toward your continued success in business!

Special Wines (June 08, 2011)
I must say, I have had many wines many wineries, and while they are all very good, I know when I open a Brochelle, it is going to be a unique tasting experience and one I always save for a special occasion.

Thanks for all the great wines, they are indeed a special treat...

Dinner, Wine & Good Friends (June 08, 2011)
What's better than dinner, wine & good friends? Nothing. We were lucky enough to have the vertical tasting gift box with 2001, 2002, & 2003 plus a bottle of the 2005 Zin and what a treat!
Each bottle had it's own characteristics yet held true to the Brochelle deliciousness. The 2001 opened up so nicely. smooth and rich. The 2002 held onto the jam that goes sooooo well with chocolate lava cake! The 2003 was good then, is great now! Of course, the 2005, excellent, big & bold, and will hold up well like the others. All that Brochelle rolled up with Braggiole (my family's signature Italian dinner) and we had a wonderful evening. Thanks for the best Zin around.

The Cab Rocks (June 08, 2011)
I just want to tell you that we had our first Brochelle Cabernet Sauvignon tonight! BIG yum! You KNOW I am not a Cab-Head (it only took me 5 years to drink it!?!) and we were both quite delighted with our experience - thank you!

...........well, we are certainly expanding our loyalty to the Brochelle label these days at the Petrini Ranch! On Sunday we had the Petite Sirah with North African beef stew. KILLER!!!!! It just goes to show that there is more than one way to have a "Brochelle Day"!

WOW (June 08, 2011)
As you already know, I am enormously pleased with your Zinfandel (3 cases purchased so far) and thought it was the finest taste in the world until................I TASTED THAT ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL, BRILLIANT, STUNNING, OUTRAGEOUS, MAGNIFICIENT, WAAAAAAY OVER THE TOP, FANTASTIC, nectar-of-the-gods, love potion that you so tamely named Ridge Top Reserve Zinfandel!

Oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In honor of a tenth wedding anniversary and at the end of a superb meal, I cracked open one of my two bottles for seven close friends. I would have paid for you and Brock to see the look on their faces. We all raised our glasses to toast the happy couple and seven people simply drifted straight away to heaven.
The table went QUIET.
My best friend, Jerry, finally whispered, “That’s absolutely wonderful.” As some had already imbibed in excess already, those still standing ended up negotiating aggressively for any remainders of your Reserve left in unattended goblets.

I remember that your write-up said it was intense or condensed or something like that. It was so well written that I was really looking forward to opening a bottle. After tasting, I do not think that words exist to do that wine justice. It was so intense, compressed, fully-packed, condensed, almost distilled, that for a minute, I thought of port!

I just had to let you know how much we love Brochelle and hope this latest tale of our delight brightens your day.

Warmest personal regards,
John

Loving the Zin (June 08, 2011)
One of my very close friends is a couple named Robin and Mike, and they are quite the wine aficionados. They have a beautiful home and are building a wine cellar that will be visible their living room. Mike was telling me that Robin opens wine, takes a sip, and opens bottle after bottle until she finds one that she likes! She, unashamedly, says she just can’t drink lousy wine.

I took a bottle of your Zin to their home last Saturday evening. She was thrilled and immediately uncorked it to breathe. Later, we all enjoyed it to the last drop. They had an open bottle of Robert Mondavi and Mike poured her a glass right after she finished the last glass your bottle. She got a horrible look on her face and ran over and spit out the Mondavi!

I wish you had been there to see how much we love this year’s output! She was all smiles when I promised that I would not open my one bottle of your Syrah unless she was present.

You and Brock are a big hit here once again!
